WELCOME

Welcome to Sisters of Grief (S.O.G), a non-profit organization that provides support and resources to women who have experienced the loss of a loved one, especially a sister. Our mission is to create a safe and compassionate space where you can share your feelings, thoughts, and memories, and connect with other women who understand your unique experience. We offer a variety of services, such as grief counseling, support groups, workshops and events, and a resource center, as well as exclusive services for women who have lost a sister, such as Sisterhood Circle, Sisterhood Retreat, and Sisterhood Scholarship. We believe that grief is not just a personal journey, but a collective one that requires empathy, understanding, and support. We invite you to explore our website, learn more about our services and resources, and join our community of Sisters of Grief. Thank you for visiting us.

EMBRACE

At Sisters of Grief (S.O.G), our mission is to embrace women and create a society where every woman can thrive. We are dedicated to providing support, resources, and opportunities to women who have faced adversity. Through our initiatives, we aim to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and promote gender equality. Together, we can make a difference and create a world where every woman's voice is heard and valued.

     EMPOWER

Empowering women who are dealing with grief and loss is a noble and important goal, as grief and loss can have a profound impact on women’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Women who are grieving may face various challenges, such as isolation, stigma, guilt, anger, depression, anxiety, or trauma. They may also struggle with finding meaning, purpose, and hope in their lives.

Empowering women who are grieving means helping them to cope with their pain, heal from their wounds, and reclaim their strength, dignity, and joy. Women need to feel heard, validated, and understood in their grief journey. They need to be able to vent their emotions, tell their stories, and honor their memories without fear of judgment, criticism, or pressure.

Women who are grieving may neglect their own needs and well-being, as they may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or unworthy. They may also feel guilty or selfish for taking time for themselves or doing things that make them happy. However, self-care is essential for healing and recovery, as it can help women to cope with stress, boost their mood, and restore their energy and resilience. They may also feel disconnected from their values, beliefs, or spirituality. Finding meaning and purpose in grief and loss can help women to cope with their pain, heal from their trauma, and grow from their experience.

By empowering women who are grieving, you can help them to transform their suffering into strength, their wounds into wisdom, and their loss into love.
